Lakes Tournament
Kill the Chill is Lake's Annual Volleyball tournament for Club ages 12 through 18 held in Forest Lake MN. Full day tournaments with pool play and brackets.
$150 for JVA insured teams & $165 for non-JVA insured teams.

- Kill the Chill Tournaments is a JVA Insured Event: Teams of any affiliation can participate and will be insured. USAV, AAU, JVA, other, are all welcome.
Registration will open 9/15/2026
The tournament will be played unless the school facility makes a decision to close the district gyms due to weather making it unavailable to us for our tournament. We will communicate to the listed contact information from the registration.
If that occurred, we would consider a re-scheduled date is being considered. More information would be shared at a later date should that option become available.

Facility Rules
No coolers will be allowed. Seating will be available for spectators on all courts; folding chairs brought in will not be allowed in any of the gyms.
Admission
Admission is required for each day of the tournament. The fees are as follows:
- $8 per person
- $5 for seniors and students
- Free for children 5 and under
Please note that only cash is accepted. We kindly ask that you plan accordingly.
Concessions
We offer a variety of concession options on-site, ensuring that you won't need to leave the premises for refreshments. Please note that we only accept cash, so we kindly ask that you plan accordingly. If you choose to dine off-site and are part of a large group, we recommend making a reservation in advance by calling the restaurant to ensure availability.
Paperwork REQUIREMENTS
Requirements outlined below to ensure you are prepared for game day.
- Background Screening/APS Training
- All adults listed on rosters at JVA insured events must complete the Background Screen and APS training unless they have a USAV screen and Safe Sport certification.
- Participation Release and Liability & Medical Release/Waiver Forms
- These forms are required to be with coaches/managers at all times
- Forms (hard or electronic copies) from other associations are accepted.
- Coaches Event Sign-In Form needs to be submitted by all teams. You will submit this during registering for the event on our site.
