Season Practices, Competitions and price

Level 14 - 18's season
Practices will begin immediately after tryouts in October.  Your coach will be scheduling them and you will be notified when they will be held

• Gym space - practices held at the Middle School and the High School
• Tournaments:  Your coach is working on them now and will contact you with the schedule.
• Timing of tournament schedules – As soon as your coach receives the schedule for a tournament, they will work with parent rep to inform parents/players.  Tuesday before the tournament is common, Parent rep will double check on Fri as well
• October- February including 10 competition dates plus a playdate.
• Total cost $450.00 (includes $50 registration fee).
• Balance due upon team placement and email notice= $400.00

Why attend pre-tryout practices?

Lakes Volleyball Club is excited to offer pre-tryout practices designed to help players sharpen their skills and feel confident going into tryouts. These sessions provide a great opportunity to get familiar with the pace of tryouts, practice essential skills, and receive guidance from our experienced coaching staff.

how to participate

Registration is required and is a $50 non-refundable tryout fee.
Athletes will not be allowed to try out unless they are registered.

Upon being notified of making the club, payment due immediately and before team placement practices. Payment is your commitment to playing the season. 

Fees include competition dates, JVA and FLAAA registration, 2 jerseys, coaches fee, equipment and gym time.

Season practice dates/time are NOT defined yet and although try to maintain a schedule they do fluctuate based on gym space availability.

team placement assessments

After tryouts, selected players will participate in team placement practices to finalize their positions and prepare for the upcoming season. These sessions will allow further evaluation to ensure optimal team placement.

Mandatory Parent Meeting/parent rep training

For individuals who make a team, a mandatory parent meeting will be held and the date/time will be posted once solidified. NO players please!!

Please bring a check for $250 that will only be cashed if a volunteer slot is not completed at our annual Kill the Chill tournament in January.

The Parent Rep training will take place immediately following the parent meeting.

Volunteer Requirements

We require a check for $250 at the Parent Meeting that will only be cashed if a volunteer slot is not completed at our annual Kill the Chill tournament in January - each family will be required to fulfill one slot per player.

We prefer you volunteer for our Kill the Chill Tournament held in January instead of paying $250! We can't do this without you!
